We are excited to announce that Jarrod Smith has been appointed as an associate member of the Murrin Bridge Local Aboriginal Land Council (LALC). This is a significant milestone for Jarrod, reflecting his dedication to community collaboration and cultural preservation.

Jarrod's appointment also reflects his commitment to Girri Birrang's mission of ‘Bridging Horizons, Building Futures.’ His role in the LALC will enhance our efforts to support Indigenous communities, provide valuable insights, and create meaningful connections. Jarrod shared:

"I am honoured to join the Murrin Bridge LALC. Receiving this news on my dad's birthday made it even more special. I look forward to working closely with the council to support our community, preserve our culture, and create opportunities for Indigenous youth."
